mine are just wired up to the cigarette lighter, and to a switch to turn them on and off at the moment. i'm lazy and my old underbody light switch was handy. the one for the cubby hole light is somewhere in the console, i haven't even looked, my wires are packed up underneath so much i don't even want to touch it.

it's real easy, there's only two wires. + and -, just tap splice them into the cubby hole wires, positive to positive etc lol

if you ever do wiring, tap splices are amazing. tap into any existing wire easily

jump the power wire from the gauges onto the wire going to the bulb in the cubby hole, this will make the gauges come on whenever the cubby hole is on, which is when the headlights are on.

Another stupid question.. do i need to keep my bulbs in? yes no?

you dont need to, because the line your jumping the gauges on to will get power if the light is in or out of the socket, just make sure you use a test light and see which is pos and which is neg and tap into the right one.
