Depends on what engine you have..

2.4L: I got mine for $1579 shipped.
2.2L: Depends, but looking at $2200+ generally
3.4L: Generally nonexistant, expensive if you do find one or custom build one.

is it simple to install? i'm just beginning to learn about cars.

what's the reflash and where do i get it done?

thanks

The Eco's install's a little more complicated but they all come with detailed instructions step by step.

Reflash is a re-tune, the dealership puts a new tune on your car so your computer can read and compensate for boost.

Or Ecotecs... Or at least nobody has tried and there is no calibration for it.

Vinalero 01-31-2008 01:23 PM

^^My thought, I think theres no reflash available for the ecotec from the dealer.

Cliff8928 02-01-2008 01:23 AM

There is for a J-Body though. I guess you'd need a HPTuners setup and work off that.

nickbain 02-01-2008 09:40 AM

If you were planning on doing anything major to the motor then wouldn't it be a good idea to get hp tuners first, learn how to use it and tune properly, so that you could fine tune everything on your own?

[ion] C2 02-01-2008 11:24 AM

yes, or go get it dyno tuned because you have to use a dyno anyway, why not get a pro job for $4-700
