Anyone had any experience with this unit. Seems a heck of a low price for what it does. I'd love to get this for my Alero. Any input will be appreciatted.

It should, it says it is a single DIN unit.

"This double DIN-sized model is built around a motorized 7-inch touch screen."

I meant double, my mistake. I was glancing at my console in my Alero, and it looks like I might have to trim the bezel a bit. Good chance to hit the junkyard for a spare bezel to chop up, so I don't wreck my original.

I also know hte old addage about "you get what you pay for", but I also beleive that no one has a 100% perfect product run all the time. I also beleive that if a company always sells something that is a piece of crap, that either that company would be out of business, or wouldn't try selling the same crappy article all the time. (NO XBOX 360 jokes here, OKAY!!) Considering what it's got, I think I'll give it a try when I get my tax return in, and report back on how the installation went, and how the system operates. If anything it will help the next one who inquires about it.

Thanks for everyone's input.

The only problem with that radio is the ribbon cable. Once you fix that then the radio is fine. Haven't had any problems with mine since.

Would it fit? Anything will fit. You just have to make it fit.

Should be fine, as long as its not Dual, Dual audio just is so full of problems, like the single din touch by dual is really crappy, but this should be fine. looks cool with its bluetooth connection too..

pimpalero2003 03-12-2008 04:38 PM
