for the 4-cylinders, you can get cheap ones.

But they dont have a big market for the 3.4, so the headers are expensive. but i dont care, they will be worth it.:coolio:

DOHC_tuner 03-20-2008 03:30 PM

900 bucks for headers? Dam thats alot

2fast2furious01 03-20-2008 03:33 PM

Mine is 3.4 too. Damn, i guess i better start saving now or get the engine swaped for 2.4 lol.

blueolds01 03-20-2008 03:48 PM

put em on yourself!!

billytheman1188 03-20-2008 03:55 PM

lol, i dont have any time....with school and everything. I have a lot of late classes..... headers would be easy to put on a 4 cylinder, but its too much work for me to do myself, the 6 cylinder is always harder to put stuff on. And i dont trust the kids at my school to put them on....

YALEROYNOT 03-20-2008 05:24 PM

is that a high flow cat you have there ?

2fast2furious01 03-20-2008 05:29 PM

where are you taking them to get them on ?

[ion] C2 03-20-2008 05:36 PM

probably an engine or exhaust shop? lol

DOHC_tuner 03-20-2008 06:33 PM

find some free time and learn, otherwise you'll always be paying lots of money just on labor. Just cut the exhaust pipe with a hack-saw and then start unbolting.

[ion] C2 03-20-2008 06:46 PM

^That suggestion has already been addressed in this thread. Some people would rather pay to have things done right, and free them from any hassle. Like how I'd rather have someone rebuild my engine than me do it.

p1mptress 03-20-2008 07:19 PM

I don't think people on here know Billy so well?! I wouldn't trust him to change my oil in my car! Sorry had to say it. Let the thread resume!

Spilner521 03-20-2008 08:01 PM

Very nice. Should make some good power. What are you running for an exhaust?

[ion] C2 03-20-2008 08:04 PM

he's got the pacesetter

YALEROYNOT 03-20-2008 10:27 PM

i love my exhaust I have pace setter and a 2.5 down pipe and high flow cat (no code 420) no headers tho and it really woke my car up for sure.
