removed stock airbox well the top half. im wondering is the bottom half hurting anything by leaving it in there? having a hard time getting it out? will it keep the cone filter from getting more air?

yeah you should probably remove that

i think its just a newb deal. trust me ive seen plenty of people do that.lol

the cone is still connected to the intake but the bottom half of airbox is there the cones over it.
i cant figure out how to get the 2 bolts off they are in hard to reach places.

You might use a universal joint for the ratchet and socket. It will make it easier.

Just use an extension or two to get the nut between the battery and the air box. The other one is easy to get.

I removed mine, it was a pain to get out. Went halfway up the fender!
