Was wondering if anyone had any advice on how much and what kind of tint I should get. Also, was wondering if anyone knew of any legal issues with tint in PA.

Well I"m not from Pa. But If u want to stay legal, probably just doing yur back windows is all you can pretty much do, unless your state allows a certain tint on the driver and passenger side. If your state does not allow it like mine. I did a 30 in front and 5 in the back, in other words i'm testing the waters.

also i think there is a web site on state tinting laws.

PA tints laws are anything on the back windows and back seat side window

30% on the driver and pass windows.

Nothing below "as1" on the windshield

If you have a light colored interior you may be able to get away with a darker tint, but you have a dark interior it will look dark with 30%, esp on a black car

5% on everything including the windshield B)

Although I had never really thought about it much, it does makes sense that a darker interior will make the tint seem darker since you can't see as much light inside the car. Now...for this purpose, what do you guys say is dark? I've got tan leather, so I'd figure that's got to be on the light side, right? Point being, Indiana is either 30% or 35% (can't remember off-hand) on the front side windows, but since my interior is relatively light, 20% isn't going to look totally dark to the point where it'll attract a lot of attention right? It is a black car too, so I think something like 20 would look better than 30, especially with tan leather.

Opinions?

I've got 15% all around and the tan leather interior. It looks very dark at night but during the day it is just about see through. With 20% you should be ok I think.
If you look at this picture you should be able to just make out the steering wheel and see through the passenger window. Barely but you can.
