heat, a/c vent mod
there was a picture floating around the site a little while ago, with mesh used in the vents, which is where i got the idea. just did mine a little bit neater. i dont remember who it was that did it, but thanks for the idea.

IDK who's car that is but it looks pretty cool. Don't know if I'd paint interior parts thou.
I thought it was Sweet's old car, but then I saw the white door, his car was black ;) |
its my car...whose else would it be...?
O sorry, I thought you where asking who's car it was ;)
certainly makes it unique (besides that other car that did it) looks like you did a neat job getting them in there.
what kind of screen is that? |

ya, the way i worded it does kinda make it seem that way. and to answer the other question, its that cheap $1 gutter mesh stuff you can find at home depot |
hows it held in?
this quick drying epoxy stuff i had. could use probly any gel type adhesive
Looks clean, but I would'nt like not being able to redirect the heat where I want.
i didnt think the stock vents did that good a job directing airflow in the first place. but thats just me.
looks sick been thinkin of a way to have sum custom vents ha good job did u paint ur dash or did u leave it stock?
thanks. the dash is stock dark grey color with the typical peeling near the windshield.
what kind of paint did you use, how hard is it, and how long did it take to paint them?
its duplicolor auto touch up paint, the stuff you would use on the outside of the car. ive had it on the interior pieces for over a year now, and no cracks or chips. the only hard part is getting the damn pieces out, especially the vent near the glovebox. removal, fabrication, and painting took no more than 3 hrs total, with removal taking close to 1. painting them didnt take that long, few minits maybe.
