Anyone wanna reccomend a good radar detector? My cobra finally died on me last month... and I definately want to upgrade (but I don't really want to spend more than $250ish)

i know you said 250ish but i had to recommend this one.... http://www.valentineone.com it's the best detector ive seen so far my friends dad had one and i loved it, it gave the fewest false alarms i've seen and pretty much all the false alarms were for automatic sliding doors at places like walgreens never on a highway. and it actually tells you where the piggie is, how awesome is that. it retails for 400 but i'm sure you can find it on ebay for less.

Are you sure thats not a provincial law? I know lots of people here have detectors.. mind you the cops sorta ignore alot of laws.

And its mostly laser here now, so you are pretty much hooped detector or no detector.

Alberta, BC and New Brunswick are the only provinces that radar detectors are leagal in. otherwise its all illeagal.

it's just cuz the ppl that are dumb enough to take it to court, are also dumb enough to talk about it in public...i mean...how can u win against 2 cops(cuz they don't drive alone around here)
