Belt Change 2.4l
Does anyone know where a how to for changing the serpentine belt for the 2.4l with pictures because I'm retarded when it comes to engines. lol
|
Lol this is the easiest thing ever.
You put a wrench (15mm?) on the tensioner bolt head (it's near the alternator pulley), and push your wrench toward the rear of the engine bay. That relieves the tension on the belt and you just pull it off. |
nice thanks

I cant believe the mechanic in town wanted 90 dollars to change this thing out 18 bucks for the gatorback at autozone. I love to save money |
that means he wanted one hour of time to change it when it actually takes less than 10 min lol.
|
There is a belt map decal printed under the hood from the factory.
|
or you might be lucky enough not to have the diagram and spend and hr. plus just to realize you are going the wrong way around the tensioner
|
so changing the belt is pretty easy eh? I think thats what I need to do cause I have squeky belts
