4.5 inches converts to 114.3 mm (our Alero's fit 115). However, plenty of people have got 5x114.3 and most report no problems.

You should get hub rings no matter what the bolt pattern of your rims is. It has nothing to do with the bolt pattern, but the size of the centre bore of your rims. You want to make sure it is the hub centre bearing the weight, not the lugs.

This is absolutly true for aftermarket wheels, where they have to make the center bore a little bigger so their wheels will fit on many different types of cars. You don't need them for stock wheels becuase they were bored specifically for your car.

Another thing to let you know, good luck getting hub rings to fit the rear wheels. The hub centres seem to be a different size on n-bodies, and I never was able to track down hub rings that fit. The front is the most important to have though.

That don't make no sense to me. What happens when you get your factory wheels rotated? I'm pretty sure they just take your front wheels and put them on the back. I don't think they take the tires off of the rims to mount them to the back rims and vis-versa.

My hub rings seem to fit fine on all of my wheels. I just got told the tire place what kind of car I had and they ordered them for me.

There is a VERY small size difference between the rear hub centres and the front ones, just enough to bunny it up. I got 4 identicle hub rings, and they fit like butter on the front. On the rear however, they fit fine over the hub centre, fine if you put them in the rim, but try put the two together and its not gonna happen. I know of guys with GA's that have had this identicle problem.

If your hub rings fit on all 4, you may have just gotten rings that are thinner, and less snug on the front, more snug on the back. Or else there are some different sized hubs kickin around from year to year.

I have not heard that the front and rear bores are different on N-Body cars, but I guess it is possible. It should be 70.3 for both front and rear.
Also if that is true, when you rotate your tires they can rotate the wheels but leave the hubcentric rings where they are.

Well I got a 2000 and my hub rings fit perfectly on all 4 corners. Did you perhaps think that maybe your rings are a little different.
