what is the name of this part?
 

im looking on gm parts direct for the part the says p r n d 1 2 3 on my auto 3.4 i see two things that look like may be it, would it be the auto trans shift plate or shift indicator. see the shift indicator doesnt specify auto or manual so it makes me think thats not it. idk anyone know for sure proper term for what im looking for?

why gm parts? get one from quad or yalero....

Just call a dealership and get a price on a "pringle" is that they call that thing and then ask them what the officical name is for when you come by to order it or for when you call back.
