sweet deal dude, I got one on mine with 2 1/4 inch piping and a Magnaflow muffler sounds nice and deep.

Talking about exhaust sizes. IVe heard 2.5" pipng is an ideal size for performance in aleros. Does this apply to just the 3.4 or all 3 engines?

AbHeLlRaZoR 03-14-2009 01:46 PM

probably most likely cause it will be less restrictive, I didn't get it on my car cause I didn't want to be obnoxiously loud like my friend and his G5.

Valley olds 03-14-2009 01:51 PM

I was actually wondering this because I thought it was weird that the ideal sizing for three diifferent engines of different displacements is the same.

AbHeLlRaZoR 03-14-2009 01:54 PM

Hmmm I don't know

dragon8807 03-14-2009 01:57 PM

2.5" is perfectly fine for all 3 engines

Valley olds 03-14-2009 02:02 PM

Okay. Thanks for the replies. This was actually in my mind for a couple months now.

I've got a 2.25" Cherry bomb vortex on my 3400 alero. It isn't as loud as what I would have liked, due to the lower displacement, than a cherry bomb muffler is usually used for, but it definitely gave it a throatier sound that the car didn't have before hand.
