whats the difference between the two? strength? or price?
http://www.z-spec.com/catalog
Polyurethane & Aluminum Engine/Transmission Mount http://milzymotorsports.com/ N-body Billet Transmission Mount click on engine performance on the left side, then click on 3400v6, then 3400 v6 - engine, then scroll down until you see the n-body transmission mount... |
Nothin really.
I'm filling a stock mount with urethane so there's no space for the rubber to move. Does the same thing. |
I figure the one from rsm will be lighter because of its size...
|
Oh, yeah, definitely. I thought you meant performance wise.
|
I actually meant both I suck at communication skills:nuts:<---------ME

 Thanks alot, I'm always interested in hearing of different ways to engineer something.... Oh, and where can I get some poly local auto store or some adhesive website? |
That sarcasm gets a very low rating from me.
I r noob Looks pretty solid already, what are you filling? |
What is that? That's not our front transmission mount at all.
It looks similar to this: ![]() Except the stock one has big gaps between the cylinder where the bolt goes, and this one has a bushing that fills the entire area. Mine's torn. |
Hm, I found two places selling an alero transmission mount. That's where the pic is from. I thought it was different from the milzy one, but didn't read too much into it. Anyway, thanks Ion I'll add it to the laundry list.

My bad like I said before I suck at communikasionz:nuts: <------ME |
I guess I dont see the point in buying milzy's compared to rsm I mean z-spec's transmission mount...
|
i don't see the point of spending that money when you have no supporting mods that would warrant the mounts...
|
for which one??
|
What he said applies to both. The gains from the mount increase with the power of your engine. More power = more lost to movement and therefore gained back by the stiffer mount.
