i went to get a wiring adapter at best buy today, its the closet place adn i was by it anyway,

they look my car up in the computer and look at me and say uh oh

told i needed a 170 dollar wiring kit

i know with replaceing the head i will no longer i have chimes

they said with out theirs my car will not only have chimes but will not beable to pass inspection because it messes with teh computer


i know there is a kit t use the factory from scosche but i though if you didnt care about chimes you didnt need it

will my car pass inspection with teh cheap walmart adapter or r they right

yeah...i have the scosche one from walmart...it works perfect and plugs right in

dont pay the extra for a name or some "professional" to install it

dum azz best buy must of got there car audio guys from circuit city lol nowonder why circuit city went under lol

get the metra 70-2003 It's about 8 dollars.

Yes the regular connector.

I would order it online. You will need the antenna adapter also. Best Buy charges $20 for it and it can be bough from another vendor (American International) for $3.

Best Buy and Metra are a rip off.

Like I said they tired to charge me 20 bucks for a 24 inch SATA data cable and I got a three pack of SATA data cables for 5.49 from a local computer shop. Best part I thought the cables were 6 inch they ended up being 24inchers...Bastards!
