neg battery terminal?

I was just wondering now that i relocated the battery to the trunk can i just run the amp grounds from my system to the - terminal of the battery or will i get alt whine and other interference?

should easily be able to do that. And it shouldn't produce whine, its not producing a ground loop... it IS on the ground

Only a bad ground should produce undesirable interference.
