Thermostat?
I've searched the forum and the engine and for the life of me i cant find the thermostat housing? Where the F&%* is it?:hissyfit:
Should be where the upper radiator hose enters the engine block
is it hard to get to and change?
On the eco, I severely doubt it.
cause if its that hard to find i think its gonna be a pain to change
i know on a 2.4 its kinda a pita, but it could be better on a 2.2
btw if this helps any, its number 6 below ![]() |
You don't really want to do a thermostat on the Ecotec unless you have a good chunk of time..
1 - If it has an automatic transmission, remove the exhaust manifold 2 - Remove the thermostat housing to water pump feed pipe. The thermostat will just pull right out after that. |
