Changing the TPS

How difficult is it to change the TPS on a 3400 Alero??

Nate's Alero 06-14-2009 08:51 AM

very easy, unbolt it, and wiggle it out, and replace..

jackal2000 06-14-2009 09:57 AM

yea it takes all of 2 minutes, if that.

and that includes drinking a beer and taking a smoke break.

Actually, you don't un"bolt" it, you un"torx" it. Interestingly enough I had the proper torx adapter. Now, comes two new front bearings and hubs, and four new brake rotors and pads. Think I'll save that for the weekend or later.
