I just thought that I would post a picture of the adaptor I am making for my Head Unit. I will be placing a eclipse cd8454 into the car. This is a fully digital, 8 volt, flip down model with dsp and time alignment. I have the adaptor piece milled out of aluminum with a matching name plate. IT is about 90 percent polished and compleated. Just a few more passes with the sand paper and it will be ready for the final coat. The side mounts will be drilled into the side of the face plate. I am going to attempt to mill out a new dash in matching aluminum. Or, at least the entire radio bezzel and climate control. If this appears to be too difficult, then I way cover it with the stick on aluminum. I would prefer to make it more square than the origianal so I am sure that I have some serious work to do. Thanks and enjoy.
