Grand Am hood????
Ok so I was wondering if a Hood from a Grand Am would fit an alero?
Nah the Grand Am hoods kinda flow with their headlights if I'm not mistaken

i agree.. i mean im pretty sure it would fit, but it would be out of place, and just wouldnt look right. |
Has anybody ever done it

Kinda sorta...I've seen someone do the whole grand am front end on an alero before not just the hood |
It won't fit where it meets the headlights.
It wont fit with the headlights. Follow my footsteps with the g/a carbn fiber front end swap
ya you would need to do the front end swap
How difficult would a front end swap be, and how much do you think it would cost?
just buy a grand am geez

Ok so the reason I ask is a friend found a carbon fiber hood for a grand am for 75 dollars brand new.
I would buy that and resell it if it was in ok shape.
i'll give you $80 for it, there you made $5....
I'd buy it and goto gagt and would sell it
I didn't bother reading the rest of this thread, but I'm sure it has been said before. Its a little silly to think about putting grand am parts on an alero...other then the side view mirrors.
Won't fit /story
If you want an aftermarket Grand Am hood, you could get a fiberglass one and just fix the front so it flows with the headlights.. since fiberglass is easy to mod/ work with.
you have to do an entire front end conversion i think ive seen 1 alero with it since ive been here....it looked out of place....but different.
but the alero front imo is one of its nicest perks. |
you should just let me know where is at so i can buy it, i have a grand am.
