introducing myself and my alero!

aye the names randy obviously....lol ne who i just joined here seeking help and giving advice. and yes im very new to this so i guess that makes me a noob:( heh. on the flipside im from eastside of ohio and it sucks so many pot holes! Well i gots an 02 alero 4dr 3.4 it had about 20k miles on it when i got it this year and i paid 7 dollars for it!!! It was my grandmothers and she gave it to me cause shes to old to drive soooooo thanks to her. Anyway seeing as it was so cheap that gives me alot of extra cash to invest into it. Not to sure of what big jobs i might do as of now but here are some pics of the ride.... yep its stock...well for now Attachment 7703 you can tell it wasnt drove much lol Attachment 7704 got bored so i painted the stock rims i get alot of good comments about em belive it or not lol but im gonna get some new ones after this winter Attachment 7705 A dog ran out in front of me behind a bush and befor i had time to brake i macked it goin about 35mph...the dog was alright and so was the car!! Attachment 7706 front view kinda a bad pic it was dark...:glare: Attachment 7707 i dont have much done to it yet. I switched out the stock bulbs in my review mirror with red ones (whoa big whooop) its something diffrent but looks good at night. I painted the rims as you seen. I also have 2 12'' kicker l5's with a custom made box and a 760watt pioneer amp. I have my stock cd player still only because people like to steal from cars around here sooo i wont buy an aftermarket one until i buy somekind of alarm. Ive seen that people have swaped there side mirror's for ga mirrors...i wasnt sure what year the ga mirror had to be to fit on my car? ive searched aleromod but couldnt find a year so if someone could help me out with that i appreciate that! I mean after all i am a noob to this lol |

Interesting look overall on the painted wheels. The center caps might look better if you painted them black as well. |

I guess I'm the only one who really dislikes the rims.
And any dual post ga mirror will work. Check ebay. You can also get a WAI/CAI cheap from there. Welcome, and happy modding. |

aye thanks for the help with the mirror info!
ive been lookin for black rims but the ones i found so far i just dont like no big hurry tho winter is comin and they murder the roads with salt round here and it kills the rims unless you clean em at least once a week lol and im not gonna do that soooo yeah. but i am in the process of clearin the cornners as of now. It was pretty easy untill i got to the part with the chrome it didnt want to come out but i got it. ill post a pic of it when im finished hopefully it looks good! |

I agree that the rims would look better all black, but it is unique as it sits... And for 7 bucks, you can't go wrong there... There is a ton of info on here for your car, so if you think of something that you have a question on use the search button and there is an 80% chance that you will find the answer.... But have fun and welcome aboard. |
