Look man Im a dealer for Massive Audio.

Im going to shoot straight from the hip with this and Im also going to email Jeremy Larsson on this as well.

Running around and spamming stuff on message boards will simply give your company a NEGATIVE notions.

Ive seen stuff on DIY Mobile Audio also.

Lets just face the facts.

Who on an Alero message board is a Dealer of massive Audio? Just me. I also go through a distributor and not direct, so this doesnt even apply to my situation...

So why post this for your dealers? Why not post it on your website, which I frequent? Or email?

Spam will only make people resent your company! Its a simple fact.

He is an employee of Massive Audio.

For whatever unknown reason Massive is having employees posts things such as this to various message boards.

Obviously this purely is spam, with a reason to hide behind...

This is not spam. We monitor questions and are on here all the time. If you don't want the latest news from factories that’s understandable I guess but we are just trying to spread the word on things that benefit people interested in Car Audio or retailers that need to try new things to keep their doors open during these times-

Just let me know if this is way off base for what people are looking for as far as information from factories-

I figured this wouldnt go over correctly.

Lets break this down.

1) This is a car forum. You are in the Audio section of a car based forum.

2) There are two dealers on this forum

3) The original thread was a message meant for your dealers, not the general public.

4) Messages like that are regarded as spam on every forum I know of, unless there is an explicit section for such announcements.

Let me make a suggestion. Stop by the boards and talk about products without trying to push them. If people ask about the products help them out. This goes a VERY long way with message board users. I have watched RE Audio, FI Audio, Elemental Designs and others grow by doing such things.

The Message Boards are tricky things. Not everyone will be a fan of your products. So you gotta take the good with the bad.

Again, just some suggestions. I hope it is all taken in stride.
