How we doing everyone?
I have been a member for a little while but never posted, sorry about that. I actually join the sight to help out my son. I bought him his first car 2000 Alero last year, and was eager to see what he would do with it. Nothing so far but drive it. Its time for his inspection and he needs new tires, he has a friend who will give him 18 inch stock dodge charger chorme rims with nearly 100% tread life left. Nice looking rims but would they fit and run correctly, better yet look good. the dodge charger rim specs are 18x7.5 bolt pattern is 5x115 the same as alero, offset is +15-22mm, and the center bore is 71.3. They have 225/60/18 tires on them, anyone with knowledge can you advise is this smart are not.

i would think that they would BUT i would wait for someone else besides me to chime in

Those 18" wheels with those tires are significantly larger in overall diameter than the stock size. 13.8% inaccurate.
Stock overall diameter is 25.2" and these would be 28.6" in diameter. |
They wont clear, so means you wont be able to mount them on the car with that size tires.....Welcome
|
charger is a RWD, Alero FWD, the offsets will be too far off to use...welcome though

Welcome!!! Yes the tires are too large, and the rims will fit as far as the offset, but they will stick out past the fenders and will look extremely stupid...
