Not a member here right?
This guy isn't a member here is he? Hopefully not. Dude just wants to have a pissing match with me because I am breaking the sad news to him that he is a liar and that he indeed has NOT worked Jesus miracles with his 2-channel Soundstream Amp and Wal-Mart VR3 Amplifiers. lol
http://www.youtube.com/user/eclipsem.../1/emASTzH1w8I Edit: Forgot link. :ninja: |
did you raed his comment? it said the force was so much that his wife could not hold the camera at the start......video shows him video taping it himself
|
Lol yes I noticed that too. This was the video I was talking about though.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_AFG808vHQ He claims to have done stereos for 11 years. Oh please. lol |
I have encountered many people since Ive been into the hobby. Along the way I have learned to just ignore most of the idiots.
This guy isnt worth it. People who know realize this. So theres no real reason to argue with him. Im all about laughing behind his back though. |
Ok I noticed the part where he bridged two VR3s to the soundstream amp.
Impossible. Only thing possible is a set of wires per coil. If he literally has both amps on each sub I dont know why it hasnt exploded into flames yet. Simply impossible. |
I know little to nothing about this kind of stuff, but I can spot a bullshiter a mile away ;)
If he's on here, so what ;) |
hahahahaha
The guys a tool. Im done with him. Cant fix stupid! |
I'm surprised you guys wasted your time commenting. My opinion is unless some one post a video with the numbers they are pulling with a competition grade spl meter then it is pointless to post a video of you playing music...it proves nothing.

the subs sound like shit the trunk rattle is horrible the box is not even ported and he made the box out of plywood wow.

I normally wouldnt have- but, since he is telling people he is running that Sound Stream amp THEN strapping two more amps to THAT amp I had to. You cant do that. Its not possible. If you try to you will damage stuff. |

This I can agree to when it comes to bragging rights saying it's "loud as a muffugga." But to show you tearing your car apart on some LOW C&S stuff, that's kind of neat to see. :) |
It's impossible to run two amps to one speaker. And why would you want to? More power isn't going to get you more bass. A speaker can only produce so much before it falls apart.
Also, I ask again... Why? In his videos, you can't even hear the music... It's nothing but low frequency noise! I'm all for a little thump thump in the trunk, but not excessive. I like balance. |
Actually you cans trap two amps together. But they must be the same amp and the must be capable of this.
The amps he has are not. its not possible. They are different amps... Electric follows the path of least resistance... |

Ryan is right with the two amplifiers being strappable in some cases. Also, if you really know what you are doing, you can run a separate amplifier to each coil. (typically only used when the two amplifiers being used are indeed not able to be strapped together.) This requires a lot of patience, tuning, and testing though... |
Requires an O-scope or face destroyed subs.

I forgot to mention tools, technology, and know-how. lol |
I don't know what yall are bitching about...
i have this setup, right now. it runs great. ...as a matter of fact, I have it running subwoofers, as headphones, on my computer. |
If you have an amp that can do "master" and "slave" you can strap them together. You can in fact with the amp I have strap 4 of them together on to one speaker. 2 amps on each coil and each amp will power - or + of the coil.
|
if he has worked on car audio for 12 years he sould know to use dynomat before he installs the subs. Because you will get the result in the video it sounds like shit. the trunk rattle is so bad.
