brake upgrade

hey guys, i'm looking at upgrading brakes.

and i know, use search. well i have but still have a few questions that need to be answered.

first. corvette front brake upgrade. does it fit behind stock 16" rims. i read in places yes, then i read in places no. so i want a answer for sure.

second. i remember someone saying grand prix rear calipers were an upgrade. is this confirmed yet or just talk?

dont bother changing the rear.... seriously....they do about 30% of braking. i cant tell ya about the stock wheels/bigger brakes fitting... just upgrade those front brakes!

and i want to upgrade the back since i have to get new rotors/pads. i think the back ones look tiny, and want something a little better looking. and better performance

i just did this upgrade colonel, i used the 16" rims from a 1999 alero and 12" rotors from a 2002 impala, brake pads/caliper brackets from a 2002 camaro and corvette calipers from a 02 corvette.

i am selling dual piston calipers from a 02 camaro if you are interested in my thread in the for sale section (the only place i could buy caliper brackets from was off of ebay and the brackets came with the calipers)
