its not bad but when u get rims...lower it......

:)

The brushed alluminum dash kit link doesnt work. Could you try linking us again I want to see what it looks like.

my friend has that head unit, it's badass

javlin 08-07-2004 10:52 PM

hey the hyper link to the dash kit site is now working.

I dont like the headunit, its just too.....plain, its cool thats its a touch screen tho, I dont really care for the colors too much on it

CAI, exhaust, P&P UIM LIM, throttle body, wires, headers.

youll pretty much want most of that if your going with a turbo

Your plans sound good but here is my 2 cents

Before you do 5% check your state laws, I have 15% and it's a bit hard to see out at night.

Look into Polished rims. If the rims you want come in polished, I'd buy them for 3 reasons. 1) look like chrome for cheaper 2) weigh a lot less 3) less weight on rims is better for the car's drivetrain.

Don't buy the ITS turbo kit, the guy doesn't know what he's doing. He told me that you do not need a PCM upgrade when adding his turbo kit, which is BS. RSM has a nice supercharger, which IMO is better for all Alero motors.

There are a lot of engine mods now. Look up "Grouch" under a name search. He has a ton of links for everything you could want.

Head unit looks good. Have fun modding

Javlin my rim's you were asking about are Eagle 185's, use the PFYC link on the home page to look at them.

Lower it when you get rims, it will look a lot better. And b4 u get a turbo, make sure u get engine internals, like new pistons and rings, stuff like that, the stock motor cant handle that kind of pressure, so you gotta do quite a bit of stuff to make it safe. Performance wise, here are some ideas.
CAI - TB - Headers - Exaust (that will give you a good flowing system, all of these are pretty restrictive on our car stock)
that should get you started, after those 4 things I would move on to internals and upgrading the fuel system.
Happy moding!

what about subs, and amps to go with that jvc? that 5% check local laws first that is pretty dark.

Thanks everone for your input i will take it all into consideration. In KC you don't have to worry about the tint level because cops can't pull you over for it, but if you are caught speeding thay can tack a good sized ticket on for window tint violation. So you do your best to not get picked up by cops. My brother has 2 1/2% on his Grand Prix GT and he has three tickets but they have never got him for his tint.

I do plan on getting a dvd player and three 7in tv screens and two power bass 12's or two memphis 12's. I don't look forward to fixing all the rattels the subs make. My last car took a few days to glue and tighten lots of screws. :wacko:PowerBass Subs
