rims with wheel spacers

anyone got any pics of alero's with wheel scapers to make the tires wider?

kwhauck 02-07-2011 09:30 PM

You mean to make the tires sit out wider.......usually they are just used in the rear....

Scott has spacers..

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:34 PM

yea thats all i was gunna do. planned on 17s rollin the fenders and puttin some nice spacers. Even though our fenders are rolled to hell already LOL

kwhauck 02-07-2011 09:38 PM

no need to roll the fenders unless you are on air, even then i'm not sure if you have to....

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:41 PM

well whats the reccomended wheel spacer width?

jabartram 02-07-2011 09:42 PM

i have 3/4 wheel spacers in the rear. depends on the rim width and offset.

kwhauck 02-07-2011 09:43 PM

depends on your wheel width/offset/ tire width combo....

Sloan92 02-07-2011 09:44 PM

i haven't decided on rim's yet

Aren't you the guy with the head gasket leak? Don't you think you should be putting your money into that, first? :wtf2:

i agree fix the head gaskets before even thinking of spending money on mods. The repair is not cheap unless u are going to repair it your self.

I giggled again....lol...be a shame to throw new rims and tires on a parked car...lol!

I had to put 1/4 spacers on my rears so the tires wouldn't rub.

but they are still probably the sweetest rims on here (if you are go guy).

They will roll this summer for sure.....plus they have only been mounted and on the car for less than a year.....before they were just in boxes in storage...

They are.. I wish I had them. I photoshopped my car a long time ago with gunmetal Ikaris (the identical copy of the Wedsports) and it looks amazing.
