Trunk Leak
What would be the best way to fix this leak? Epoxy? All suggestions welcome. (Sorry about the last picture being so blurry, you can still see where the water is entering at.)

the location of that picture would help, is that the trunk?
edit: oh word its in the title. you could try using some type of silicone or another type of sealant |
So, just put a bead of silicone over the outside and inside of where its leaking?
|
I would also use caulk.
|
Slab some silicone around there and you'll be good.

3m painatble seam sealer Just make sure to clean the area very well and you can use an acid brush to apply it
|
what we use at the dealer is stuff called Hightech by kent automotive. stuff comes clear and works great. reminds you a lot of thick supper glue. you could check your local auto parts or dealer parts department.
with what ever you get id make sure to clean the area with some degreaser or gental solvent and then pack it into the crack reall well. no such thing as too much. and then maybe do a layer in the inside. |
X2 on the kent hitech. I have used it also it gets alittle harder than the seam sealer but does a good job.
