Noob from NY

Hello all,
I have been lurking for a week or so, decided to sign up. I recently purchased a 2003 GL2 Ruby Red. I really like it so far. I am ashamed I never gave Aleros a serious look years ago. We have 3 children, so we instead looked at minivans. My other vehicles are 2008 Silverado CC and 2010 Grand Caravan. I bought this to 'share some miles' with. I drive about 2000 miles per month so I wanted something with some creature comforts.
I have the 3.4L that just had the gaskets redone, so that issue is past. This sight has been informative and look forward to future discussions. My father is a retired GM Tech, so I have plenty of experience being involved in mechanical work (hence the screen name).

Welcome. Good to have more family men (instead of loud teenagers) on the board.

Welcome! I hope you find that this community is quite knowledgable. Most common problems with Aleros have already been discussed on the forums so they should be only a search away. If you cant find an answer to a problem on here just post and most of the guys on here would be happy to help.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I have done plenty of searching already. I pulled the top intake off this past weekend to clean injector at cylinder #2 as I was getting a misfire and rough idle. All fixed now :yahoo:
