loose cable
 

Dont really notice any issues but when i was under the hood today i noticed that my throttle cable has a lot of play.....is this normal?

Check to see if there's any clips or anything broken, idk. It doesn't really matter, cable tie it tight if you want.

Do you mean the actual cable (black rubber-coated part) or just the wire running through it? The wire can have a little slack, and as long as the cable isn't about to fall out of it's bracket, it's ok.
