Hello from southern Michigan
 

Hello everyone,
I am from Battle Creek Michigan and I have an 03 GL sedan with the 3.4 and I just hit 75,000. I bought almost 4 years ago to save on gas. I bought it because the price was real good and never thought much about any mods whatsoever until I had to replace the aluminum rims due to Michigan's salty winter roads....... Anyways I have always modded my other vehicles and just never thought of the Alero as something to mod. I was going to replace the 15" rims with 15" rims and then something snapped and I had realized that I have never done anything to make this car "mine". I put on a set of 17" Raceline rims with 245/45 Falkens. Then I decided it wasn't enough so I found this site. I have been browsing around and reading a lot of posts with tons of good info. I would like to thank everyone here for such a sweet site. I look forward to future mods and all the shared info!:coolio:

Welcome! You bought the 3.4L to save gas? You must own some V8 cars or something lol. As you probably noticed a lot of us mod our cars. Lowered, tint and bigger rims can really make an alero look sexy. Got any pics of your alero with rims?

I had the Chevy Silverado with the Vette package and an Camaro Z28 with the Vette package also......... The truck was my daily driver 10 MPG on a great day! I am hoping to take some pix tomorrow and get em up here. Just got the rims on Friday.

Welcome! I'm in Kalamazoo and recently picked up my GX as a daily driver and gas saver. I've been pleased with mine. The mod bug is starting to hit me though. Especially with her being a 5-speed.

Welcome, from another Kalamazoo guy. Technically I switched over to Cobalts because of fuel economy, but I still have the Alero itch.
