Scoop Replacement
 

Most of you have seen the ugly-looking makeshift scoop on my hood. Well, now if I get the chance I will attempt to replace it with this one I am getting off Ebay:







You should recognize it as the shaker scoop from the vintage Pontiac Trans Ams. Instead of facing inlet rearward as in the original, this will most likely be inlet forward. It will be trimmed to fit the contour of the hood and lower in profile. But it will be mounted on the hood rather than under, and finished size should be 16 x 18 inches.

As if I need to start on more stuff, don't even have the car back yet :)
