New GM NOS hood
 

I saw a post on craigslist for
New GM NOS hood for $150.
Im not going to buy it, but ive never heard of that before. Anybody know what this is?

NOS stands for New Original Stock, meaning its a GM factory hood.

Eh, don't feel bad, nobody knows everything......You just spend more time and learn more and more everyday. I just learned the other day that one of the mounts in the alero is liquid filled when I was stripping it to take to the scrap yard. I had no idea!! Was pretty cool to learn though!

I thought NOS = New Old Stock, as in old stuff that's never been used, and often still in the original box.

You are correct, I was thinking original, either way, its a stock GM hood.

There was a fiberglass cowl hood on cregs list I had found a while back but the seller never got back to me.

I think it was rowdys......

Know any way to get ahold of him or anything? I really want it. Even still that would be nice to have.
