HID Color Imbalance
 

Driving around today I noticed that my lights reflection in the car's bumper ahead of me was looking skewed. I pull in at home, turn on the lights and low and behold my passenger side light is the nice crystal blue color I want but the drivers side is more yellowish...almost like a stock bulb.

Both ballasts are buzzing away. Both are DDM hookups. Anyone have any ideas? Wear and tear or something? I'll get a pic up here before too long.

usually means ballast is going out.

I had this happen and it turned out one of the bulbs were bad. DDM replaced the bulb free of charge. Not sure if they still have a lifetime warranty. Swap the bulbs between ballasts and it will confirm if it's a bulb or ballast.

Update: check DDMTuning and turns out that it is a bulb and warranty issue. Waiting to see what the options are for resolving the matter.

ahh... well on my buddys lexus his ballast was going out and his hid was blue but flicker and changed yellow then stayed that way while driving.
