security light coming on randomly
 

the security light comes on sometimes while i'm driving. goes away when i turn the car off. solid, not flashing. and no dings. is my ignition switch/lock cylinder going bad?

Possibly...I've noticed mine will do it when I use my keys with all the heavy crap on it...it backs out of the switch from time to time.

Passlock system is disable. My grand am did that from time to time. My switch was bad, i could pull my key out while the car was running
