stock 3500 GAGT
 

Well I finaly got out to the track with the 3500 Grand Am GT!

Before every one says how poor it did here is some info on it!

-2002 Grand Am GT 303,500+ kms on body and trans
-2005 lx9 approx. 70,000kms on it now
-running with 3400 injectors, plenum, 56mm TB
-stock 3400 tune on engine, some tuning on the trans. but it still slips
-stock "ram air" air box set up, paper cheap filter
-2.5" exhaust from manifold to gas tank, stock 2.25" from there, stock muffler
-17" wheels (more weight than stock)
-first time in a 99+ n-body at the track
-MSD wires, new plugs (new style bosch)
-few parts and tools in the trunk!

also ran a couple of 15.70's as well.

Over all I am happy with the fist outing, have to start the bolt ons and tune the damn thing then it will start moving!

Also got 34.5 MPG (6.8L/100km) on the way home from the track!

What was the car's weight?

No idea. what ever a '02 GT1(leather, sun roof, 6way power drivers seat...) 4dr Grand Am weighs with 1/2 tank of gas. Still had the spare and tools in the trunk too!

I will try to weigh it before the winter hits:cool:

If you have a high-flow CAT, those times are about right, more impressive if you have a stock CAT. All-in-all, a good first session.

i threw down a 15.64

15.2 Bone stock with paper filter here... 3400 GA GT1, Loaded 1/4 tank of gas
14.9 with K&N with downpipe
14.1 with Milzy Stage II full exhaust and Mounts

Intake, 65 mm TB and 2.5 catback.... 16.01 :(

Need to scan it for Knock Retard (KR). Try to run it on a very cold day at the track, too.

that was before he got a tune and headers! need to see what it will run now!

how many kms on that light weight 2dr on that stock run?lol slowbird on gaowners ran a 15.3 bone stock with his '04 GAGT when he got it, think it had about 50,000kms on it at the time!
