angel eyes?

hello, i have been browsing around not really posting much, but there was something that caught my attention.
i saw a member on here, i want to think it was nas escobar, that in there signature had angel eyes on a grand am, i have also seen a thread about euro projectors as well. if one where to get the projectors, how hard would angel eyes be?

Oh wait you have an alero.

Uhh no one has done it before. But you could just have lightswerks do the job for a pretty penny. ;)

Actually I have seen a member on here that made his own angel eyes. I'll do some digging later, but from what I remember, it's not too hard if you are comfortable with opening up your headlight housing. I thought about doing it, but wanted to do a projector/angel eye combo. Now I just don't care anymore.

I have never liked the angle eye look for our lights... the lights are too squared off for a round angle eye to suit it... with or without a projector housing... just my 2 cents...

If you are up for some modifying you could easily get it done with some led strips and a bit of wiring... again depends on how comfortable you are with electrical at that point!

Good luck with it :)

Those angel eyes came with my lights. Honestly, I didn't even think they would look good on my car. Sadly, they're the LED lights and not the CCFL.

Anyways, if you're serious about this, it's not that hard to do. All you have to do is get the right CCFL size.

Nobody I know has done it on an Alero, but here is a guide of how it can be done if you want to do it, but this is on a Grand Am projector.

Don't know if it will help, but if you do a projector on your Alero light, the best thing would be to place the CCFL ring around the shroud and it will give it the BMW halo look.

It would be an interesting project. Someone built a set of projector lights but didnt halos in them. they looked alright.

i just ordered a set of projectors with ccfl rings they should be here between the 21-27th ill post pics of the retrofit. im debating if i want to do an amber turn in the housing around the projector

Yes amber! Nothing is uglier than fully clear headlights with projectors
