04 Alero radio wiring

I'm installing a new Pioneer head unit in an '04 Alero (2 door, 4.2L eco) but none of the wiring harnesses or antenna adapters from any of these stores look quite right, and none of them specify use for an Alero on the box. Anyone happen to know which parts I need? :awesome:

Typically any harness made for a 04 GM vehicle should work. Since you have an 04, you may want a chime kit to retain chime functionality. Only way to find out is just to buy one and try to plug it in. It should work.. If you go to websites like Scoshe and Metra they should list part numbers and you can usually get them cheaper online. Amazon and Ebay usually has decent pricing.

Also, if you want to save cash on an antenna adapter, sometimes you can luck out and find one in a junkyard on any 2000 era GM car that had an aftermarket radio. Usually the wreckers wont care for something small and insignificant.

Wal-mart sells the chime kit harrness for cheap....mine is 5+ years old and doesn't work anymore when the car is cold.
