monsoon rear speakers
does anyone have the revision speaker part number?
the number i have is 22698418. which i found on gagt.com but it is from a few years ago so im not sure it is the correct number. also does anyone know where i can find these speakers because gmpartsdirect wants 66 bucks for one speaker. i am on amazon right now looking but i dont see "updated speakers" in the description of the ones i have found and i dont want the same shitty material thats in these blown stock ones again. |
Get regular aftermarket ones...there is a two wire combo on each side that works...i did it in my car and it works well but cant remember and i am currently 1200 miles from my car

Go with these
I have the bi-amplified Soundstream's and they run fine with that amp. As long as you save the crossovers you can even use them when you replace the monsoon amp.

Id like to stick with stock until i am ready to go all out on my sounds system. i like the stock system its just enough for me and the kids. dont get me wrong those sound streams look great! but i am prefering to stick to stock. and the delco speakers are 55 a piece compared to the 80 something for the sound streams.

so it's not $66 per speaker?

The soundstreams would be a set though, whereas the Delco's would be individuals. |
ahhh just saw that. either way id like to stay stock until i get a new hu.

If you are gonna redo it at some point anyways just get a walmart set of sony's or kenwoods and hook them up...not that hard and cheaper than getting the new delco speaker...i have had xplods in the rear deck for 2.5 years and they still work great and it puts out enough bass to shake the side mirrors some...i have monsoon as well i might find the thread where i was able to check my wire choices
