Water Outlet vent pipe
 

For some reason i got to replace it again. But on the steam pipe that runs to the coolant tank, is their a gasket for it? I know the outlet itself has one

My 2.4 friend doesnt believe so.

i'm so glad i had a completely new water outlet custom fabricated from aluminum. i use hoses and big flat gaskets, no fiddling with leaky o-rings anywhere.

Quick search of YouTube shows one. I call shenanigans on acdelco for not including the the o-ring that connects to the engine block, and the steam pipe. The dorman part comes with them.

I could make one too but i don't think quick steel will hold up that well.

Couldn't find the vent pipe o-ring. This it where I get smart. I got a pack of o-rings. One was the size but to thick. I used my dremel to sand it down to size. No lie use some astroglide gel to put it in the the water water outlet. That can mae you park a fleetwood in a doghouse.
