Posted this on another forum but figured i'd ask you guys too. I'm going to go with the HDS312 from Soundqubed next. Now should i get the matching amp from Qubed or a KX1200.1? i know the kicker amp is way more expensive but I absolutely love the KX I have now. It never gets hot, its small, an all around good quality line. can the same be said about the Qubed amp?

They make quality gear in both categories. They are priced high though like JL. Might try Caraudio.com for some more reasonable priced amps of similar quality. I have found that site to be a boon of information from knowledgeable audiophiles PPI and certain Hifonics like the Brutas are popular.

As a side note have you looked at the new Team 1k's from C2 they are getting super reviews.

Unless you absolutely have to have it now wouldn't hurt to take a couple of days to look around at the other amps. Ask on the car forum or just browse thru some of the threads on what amps are good might give you a couple of items to look at. The woofer is quality so if you like it go for it. Was just offering the C2 up cause it's gotten some rave reviews but neither is going to be a bad choice.
