Whining Sound
 

I took my alero to the track yesterday. Ran 17.1 with horrible reaction time and wheelspin. Drove home fine. But now it makes a very faint whining sound. It gets louder the faster I go but only does it when cruise is on or decelerating. Accelerating it does not make the sound. I thought torque converter but it stalls at normal speed and the tranny shifts fine. Any ideas? I will post timeslip and video later...Wait till you see what I raced.

Happened to me too once on the free way when i was trying to pass a semi and floored it cuz i saw my exit was coming up but it only lasted for a while i wasnt sure what it was it was like a really faint whistle kinda noise
