New 3400 Install Questions
I am doing a motor swap from the 3100 to a 3400 and am getting really close to putting in the motor and tranny. I have several questions:
1. Which LA1 sensors do you recommend that I reuse or should purchase new? 2. Must I install the EGR valve during the initial break in period, since I plan on deleting it anyways due to the mp62? I don't care about passing CA smog there's a trillion places that will pass me regardless. 3. How long should I leave the engine running to break in once I initially start it? And the time until I install the mp62? 4. Should I double tune the PCM? Once prior to the initial start up, since there's 60lb injectors and a stroked motor, and again after for the blower and methonal injector install? I appreciate all of your help in advance. |
Just do the 3500 swap. It's just as easy and more power then the 3400

Id do a light tune for break in, then a power tune after 2000-4000 miles.
