Good wiring harness
Hey,
I've had a Pioneer head unit in my car for the better part of 3 years. Well the cheap Scosche wiring harness w/RAPS is quitting on me. Did some research and found out that it's common especially when it is cold out for the radio not to work and it will do all kinds of goofy things. I'm looking at replacing it with a better harness from Metra or the like. Only thing is I would like the switched accessory power to provide the full 12v 10 amps, not the usual 12v 3 amps. Most harnesses I am finding are 12v 3 amp switched power supply. I live in Minnesota and it's cold most of the year and I would really like my radio to work properly. I do not have the monsoon, bose, on star or anything. It just has to run my chimes and speakers. Any suggestions would be great guys. |
I found this harness. Can anyone confirm anything about it?

Thanks for the reply Sleepy. BTW you have an awesome looking unique Alero.

Lmao. Thanks man. I really appreciate that. :)

It puts my daily driver to shame. I do have to say though that the 3400 is a trooper. Between the LIMG issue and me getting my MAF wet. It still runs like a champ. After repairs of course.

Yeah ive got two 3400's now both have been great!

Anyone? Forum seems just about dead lately like no one drives an Alero anymore
