No factory keyless entry but now have
 

Just wanted to update read a lot of keyless entry threads but no definite answer. My car didn't come with keyless entry but had power locks and remote trunk release, so I was sure it would work.

Got the correct keyless entry remotes after I thought I had the correct one's but dealer told me they were not correct.

After spending $300 dollars on getting things fixed on the car he said they would program them for free. Otherwise as mentioned on here would have been $50.

So now I have keyless entry on my Alero, yea...

Now we're having problem with the car shutting off while driving and hard starting. Guess it's time to get the ignition switch replaced.
