Well on eBay they have them with different kits. Has anybody got em?

I bought the Black "Spyder Crystal Headlights" from Andy's Auto Sport (http://www.andysautosport.com/produc...a99-am-bk.html) which came with all the bulbs so that it was a quick install...and why they cost a little more than the eBay listings.
I love the way they look...and before anyone gets on me for not "clearing the corners", I have purposely left corners intact because they match my (VHT Metallic Burnt Copper) painted calipers. :D Here's a comparison between the OEM headlights (upper left pic) and the black headlights (upper right & bottom pics): |
I would not suggest buying them, they painted part of the housing black that the light needs to reflect off of, which gives less light out put. I have a set on my daily alero, and its noticably crappier then stock.

Mine are actually noticeably brighter than stock...perhaps it depends on who manufactures them and/or the bulbs being used.
At any rate, my Alero is barely a daily driver since I work from home, so I would recommend taking Sleepy's suggestion into account, especially if light output may be adversely affected. Quote:

OK here what I was looking at Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/361543499129 Side note, how are HIDs in these cars? I got a kit for free and installed them in my 01 grand am and it was crap. Looked good, but no light output. I already did the bright light mod, hi and low can run at the same time. |
HID's work great in Alero's. I use 6000K in both cars.
|
Hids are great in stock housing. Theu suck in the ebay black lights.

The ones Garion linked in his post have the same picture.. so do all of em I saw on ebay... probably all the same manufacturer too. ~100 bones with free shipping, check bank account, check email....ooh $20 off coupon.... and sold. |
yea and hids in stock housings also blind oncoming traffic, do a projector conversion, much better

Any newer bulbs nowadays blind oncoming traffic... this is why I hardly drive at night. (Almost got into an accident at an intersection once because of them.) |

Dang. Still might get em and just run silver stars. Maybe HIDs in the fog's. I'm surprised OEM ones are not cheap since UPS and some motor homes use em. |
They sell stock (oem replica) aftermarket sets for about 110$.
