where is the best place to buy the kit and how much am i looking at?

smokinAMD 11-03-2004 01:09 PM

I bought mine direct from Razzi. At the time, It was the cheaper option after shipping to my house.

Are the razzis heavy? I know your car is allready fast, wont the razzi just slow you down?

Youngblood77 11-03-2004 09:05 PM

I too have been considering the Razzi purchase, and I've done a bit of looking around. So s/c, here's the list of sites I've found. Please note that some require more cash for the shipping, so you'll have to crunch some numbers to see which is the cheapest. B)

Good luck man, hope this helps:

Nope. My car was actually FASTER with it on.

It stuck to the ground better too, front end was planted. It improves the aero package just enough I guess.

Picked up 500 rpms as well due to it having a better aero package.

143mph on backass hick roads with no traffic. I was a wee bit curious how the razzi affected the aero setup of the car, so I gave it a go. Seeing as I do believe I'm the only one on here with the Razzi and PCM work.

IMO that is just plain stupid....

smokinAMD 11-03-2004 10:22 PM

You're entitled to your opinion. It was something I was curious to, and seeing as I don't have access to a wind tunnel, how else was I going to see?

Pimpalero03 11-03-2004 10:40 PM

i think they put limiters on for people like u. lol

that's sweet, I never thought about a kit because I thought the were heavy. Would the AAS kit have the same affect?

Couldn't tell ya, but I'm assuming so. Quite honestly, I think the forbidden kit would provide the best stability at high speeds. It's front end would provide for a lot of downforce. That kit has a nascar stylish appearance to it, it's low to the ground, and has a lot of surface area to catch the wind, and with that, you get downforce, and with downforce, you get better handling and faster speeds.

But, then again, the forbidden kit could catch too much air and the car may be aerodynamically slower. But it will definantly stick to the road.

I'm just speculating here, but I can tell you this much, the Razzi definantly added a bit of downforce to my car, and made it noticeably faster.

I think it would be interesting to take some cars to the windtunnel and test things out. Yeah, I'm a geek, I know.

^ I agree, this kind of stuff interests me, I want to major in aerodynamics. I think that would be awesome

gxryan 11-04-2004 06:40 PM

Now i'm curious this aerodynamics has anyone tested to see if it adds at all in your quarter mile times and speeds cause if your blocking less air it should increase your times a little.

I'm just kinda curious if anyone has tried it without and then with the body kit with no other modifications to accually see the numbers.

I don't imagin it will make a LARGE difference on ur time but if it adds a couple more MPH on ur times thats still pretty impressive for just wanting to make ur car look cooler.

mike2002 11-05-2004 12:54 AM

i think the tiny bit they help aerodynamics is offset by the weight when your talking 0-85/90mph....at speeds of 140, aerodynamics are huge.

The erebuni looks exactly like the razzi and its fiberglass as well. About a bill off of regular razzi price so that should be an option for you as well S/C.

The eubrini is the Razzi. Eubrini is just a company that sells it.

I don't know how much weight the Razzi adds. But I want to say its under 20 pounds. Hell, I don't think it's much more then 10 pounds.
