Welcome to the boards, Vespira. :) I've yet to have any trouble with my car's windows ( knock on wood ), but I've heard that the window regulator is most commonly the part that gets replaced when our windows start having issues. Well, more specifically, a small clip, but it's not usually available, so the whole assembly gets replaced.

My regulator went out and I just replaced the whole motor assembly, now it works fine except right after I got my windows tinted the glass got all nice and scratched up. Anyways good luck with it and Welcome to the Boards!
