My b/f took my amps and won't admit it!! Anyways now I have to get some and have know idea what. I would like to get a multi channel amp but what would anyone recommend? I don't want competition sound just want to improve sound as my car is the main vehicle to transport my kids (don't want them to lose their hearing). I have a sub and already replaced my stock HU. I don't want to spend tons of money because I have had the luck of getting my past vehicles broken into. Thanks for your info!! :D

Do have any componets or is just the one sub??

blueyezalero 01-08-2004 05:24 PM

Just the sub right now

It all depends on your future plans. If you are sticking with just the single sub, probally would stick with 2 channel amp, and just bridge it. If your are looking at adding more, probally would want to go with either a good 4 channel amp or run two amps. It is all up to you.

Ok, are there any brands that you'd recommend. Right now i'm going to stick with one sub. Thanks for your help.

it all kind of depends... what kind of sub do you have...
and what kind of box is it in
what kind of $$ are you looking to spend...
Alpine, JL, Soundstream, clarion, etc are some deacent amps...

The sub is a cerwin-vega, if that tells ya anything and it's a ported box. That's about all I know

jonez 01-09-2004 08:03 PM

What size sub is it?

blueyezalero 01-10-2004 04:23 PM

I think it's a 10 not really sure

jonez 01-10-2004 05:18 PM

Probally a amp that is brigeable to about 250-300 watts should be good.

blueyezalero 01-10-2004 05:35 PM

ok so does that I mean I have to buy two 2 channel amps?? right? thanks for your info

jonez 01-10-2004 11:27 PM

no, one amp that has two channels

blueyezalero 01-11-2004 05:53 PM
