School's almost out so I'm going to be able to work some more and buy pretty things. I'm getting a buffer in a couple weeks to get some swirl marks out of my paint and then my next buy is going to be component speakers.
I've searched a lot already and talked to some people on the forum here too, but I'm looking for a little more info.
Obviously, I'd like to get some 6.5" into my doors, but 5.25" are are another option. I was looking at the Infinity 6000cs or the 5000cs because so far those seem to be the best speaker in my pricerange that will fit. According to Infinity's website, the 6000cs have a larger diameter but are shallower than the 5000cs. I know some people here have put the 6000cs in without much effort.
Im new to installs and since I'm on a budget I don't want to pay a shop to install them. Because of this I need something that will require little to no modding to fit, including the tweeters.
Basically I want to know what is the best option for a newbie installer to get some component speakers into the doors and fit right. Remember little to no modding would be best!
