and if you replace your slave, make sure you replace your master at the same time because most the time the master will go out soon after, at least on my dsm it worked that way, not to sure on the alero

good info, i just replaced the slave on my girls 03 eclipse. but with the slave it was just the little seal around the piston, it had folded over and fluid was shooting into the boot and leaking. so the master cyl shouldnt have any problems, at least not for a little while, being an 03, but then again, its a mitsu. so i dunno.
